Lova

Terms of Service

Effective 31 July 2026 · the Lova app for iOS and withlova.com

These are the rules for using Lova. Plain language, no filler. By using the app you're agreeing to them.

1. What Lova is

Lova is an app for couples. It is not a chatbot and does not hold a conversation with you.

Once a day it gives you one short action — "sit next to each other", "ask her this" — and that's it. Two people share one AI context, but they do not share each other's personal answers.

Platform: iOS.

2. Who you're agreeing with

Lova is built and run by Aliaksandr Kokh, an individual developer based in Belarus. There is no company behind it — your agreement is with an individual.

3. Who can use Lova

Adults only, 18 and over.

We ask your age during onboarding. If you're under 18, the app won't let you in. If we find out an account belongs to a minor, we'll delete it.

4. Your account

5. Trial and subscription

6. Cancelling and refunds

7. Rules of use

Don't enter someone else's information without their agreement. Lova asks about your partner — their name, your relationship, your family. Only put that in if your partner is fine with it. This is their data as much as yours.

One account per person. Don't run an account on someone else's behalf and don't share logins.

Don't misuse the app — no attempts to break, probe, or interfere with the service or with other people's accounts.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account.

8. What the AI is and isn't

The daily suggestions and weekly letters are generated by a language model. That means:

Before the first call to the model, Lova shows a dedicated consent screen. Nothing is sent to the model until you agree.

Use the suggestions as a prompt to talk to each other. Decide for yourselves whether any of it fits your relationship.

9. Lova is not a crisis service

Lova is not therapy, not couples counselling, not medical care, and not a crisis service.

It does not diagnose anything, does not treat anything, and does not replace a professional. If you or your partner are in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency or crisis services — not the app.

What Lova does when something serious comes up, and what it will never advise, is written out on the safety page.

Safety questions: safety@withlova.com.

10. Ending your use of Lova

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. It's irreversible and removes your profile, questionnaire, moods, suggestions, safety records, subscription record, and your membership in the couple. Your partner keeps their own account.

Deleting your account does not by itself cancel an active App Store subscription — cancel that separately in the App Store.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks section 7, belongs to a minor, or is being used to harm someone.

11. Limitation of liability

Lova is provided as it is. We don't promise the app will be available without interruption, error-free, or that the suggestions will help.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

Where liability can be limited by law, it is limited to what you paid for Lova in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If we do, we'll update the effective date at the top and notify you — in the app and by email — at least 14 days before the new version takes effect.

If you keep using Lova after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with them, you can delete your account and cancel your subscription in the App Store.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Belarus, where the developer lives and works.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

Your purchase itself is a transaction with Apple, and Apple's own terms apply to it alongside these.

Before anything formal: write to us. Almost everything is faster to fix by email than by procedure.

14. Contact

See also the Privacy Policy, which explains what Lova collects and what your partner can and cannot see.
